Scholarships for Brazilians |
|
The Fulbright Commission
administers several kinds of Master Degree programs for Brazilians in the United
States. Most of those programs have the co-sponsorship of Brazilian Government
Agencies such as CAPES, CNPq FIEMG/IEL, FAPESP, some private organizations such
as the Fundação VITAE and the American Chamber of Commerce, in São Paulo.

The Screening
Process |
|
The screening process for a Fulbright Commission scholarship
begins approximately one year before the beginning of the studies
in the USA. All the candidates are competitively assessed,
regarding their qualifications, the study area, the work plan and
the intended use of the knowledge they will acquire.
Check below the
basic requirements, common to all the types of scholarships:
Basic requirements
-
Be a Brazilian
citizenship;
-
Be residing in
Brazil during the screening process;
-
Be proficient in
the English language with a score of 80% in the MTELP test,
which is applied in ICBEU on the first Thursday of every month;
-
Present a good
project and the professional qualifications required for the
development of the intended activities;
Possess needed
personal qualifications that include adaptability, good health and
power to represent Brazilian society and culture abroad.

"International Fellowship Program", in co-sponsorship with the
